I gotta ask a lame question. I'm building a jump line on my property - it is incredibly difficult to find solid information on the right radius for a proper DJ ramp like this. Any chance you know the radius of the ramp in the vid?
12-15 feet generally... you can always change the height to make a long&low or keep it high to boost... the key #'s are radius and take-off angle (rather than height).
Generally eye balling a curve hasn't worked for anyone ive seen.; Going in with a plan seems to be best. Radius being twice the height is just for trick jumps too. For sets we usually have mellower ones. usually about 15 foot radius's but these aren't small jumps
Last thing ill say in this dumb discussion. Maybe you did pull a perfect radius out of your ass. Doubtful someone on pinkbike asking whats a good radius could do that first try on a wood lip.
